The First Chibariyo Festival Eisa de Night: March 8, 2026

So, word on the street is that someone finally decided the Yamauchi Middle School neighborhood needed a serious wake-up call. Enter the very first Chibariyo Festival Eisa de Night. 🍺 It is the debut of an event designed to shake things up with local youth groups, dance teams, and performers all descending on Okinawa City. If you have been living under a rock or just hiding from your in-laws, this is the local energy you have been missing out on. 🕺

Where and When 📍

The festivities take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026. 🗓️ Everything kicks off at 1:00 PM and runs all the way until 9:00 PM.

The whole thing is happening right in front of the Koza Shinkin Stadium Plaza at 2-1-1 Moromizato, Okinawa City. 🏟️

Just a heads up: there is absolutely no parking. 🚗 Zero. Zip. So unless you plan on hovering or using the Force, grab a bus or a taxi.

Entrance is free, which is perfect since we all spent our budget on overpriced coffee this morning. ☕

The Daylight Shenanigans ☀️

12:55 PM to 3:00 PM

The committee says hello at 12:55 PM, followed by some guest greetings.

🎤 Then the real work starts. At 1:05 PM, the Uruma Tenryu Daiko kicks things off with some creative Eisa. 🥁

By 1:25 PM, MamaRimo takes the stage, followed by the kids from Dance Studio 1.2.3 at 1:35 PM. 👯

At 2:40 PM, you get Teru Mikan and Micchi on the ukuleles, which is probably the most relaxing part of the whole day. 🎸

3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The performances keep rolling with Hikari at 3:00 PM and Oriri at 3:25 PM. 🎶

REDSOUL brings the heat at 3:50 PM, followed by the Azuma Sisters at 4:20 PM. 💃

Around 4:40 PM, they will tell you who paid for all of this and show off the food stalls. 🌭

Use this time to grab some yakisoba before the crowds get real. 🥢
