Lights, lasers, fireworks, dinosaurs, zombies, Santa, snow, and a countdown to the new year—all packed into one place. Yes, all of it. 🎄✨

Celebrating its 30th year, the Okinawa Children’s Kingdom Christmas Fantasy is basically a theme park, winter festival, and end-of-year party rolled into one very energetic month-end sprint.

A Lot More Than Just Pretty Lights

This is one of the biggest illumination events in Okinawa, and they are not shy about it. Expect massive light displays like Niagara-style cascades, heart-shaped tunnels, and a glowing Blue Cave that exists purely to fill your camera roll 📸💡

The real show-stealer is the Super Aurora Attraction—a full-blown laser, sound, and fireworks spectacle that feels way more intense than something with the word “children” in the title 🎆🎶

The “How Is All This in One Event?” Section

This festival doesn’t believe in moderation. Alongside the illuminations, you’ll find a snowfall show in Okinawa (yes, really ❄️), a Santa House where kids can take photos with Santa, and a Christmas Horror Night area where zombies apparently decided December was their season too 🧟‍♂️

Then there’s Dinosaur Battle, which is exactly what it sounds like and somehow still surprising every time 🦖💥

December 20 kicks off with a World Dance Festa, followed by Eisa Day on December 21, featuring traditional Okinawan performances 🥁🔥
After that, the stages stay busy every single day with different artists and groups, so even repeat visits don’t feel repetitive.

The Christmas market runs daily, making this a solid spot for snacks, warm food, and casual wandering 🍗☕
On December 31, things level up with a full countdown event, complete with live performances and fireworks to ring in the new year 🎇🎤

Junior high school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
On December 31, minors need a guardian or parental permission.
