If you’ve ever wanted to party and save the ocean at the same time, this is your moment. Ufuda Festival 2025 is back and better than ever, and yes — it’s still free! 🎉
Set your sunscreen and questionable beach fashion aside because on Sunday, July 13, Ufuda Beach in Motobu Town is turning into a full-blown beach clean meets music fest kind of vibe.

What’s Going On 🌊🎤🍔
It’s not just a music festival — it’s a movement. The Beach Clean Office is throwing this party every year to get more people talking (and doing something) about protecting Okinawa’s insanely beautiful ocean.
Expect:
🎶 A stage packed with artists from reggae legends like PUSHIM with HOME GROWN to live painters like SHOTAMAN
🍔 Food trucks bringing in all the beachy snacks and cold drinks
🌊 Try-it-yourself fun like marine sports and ocean plastic art
🎆 And of course, a fireworks finale to blow your sandy socks off
Perfect for anyone from toddlers who just want juice and a sparkler, to adults who need a reason to justify buying another pair of festival sunglasses.
Event Schedule ⏰
🕚 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
🎆 Fireworks finale around closing time
☔ Rain? It’s still on. Typhoon? Maybe not.

Why You Should Go
Because this is how you pretend to be an environmentalist while holding a burger and dancing to reggae — all in the name of cleaning up the ocean. Also, fireworks. Did I mention fireworks?
Whether you’re a local, a beach bum in denial, or just someone dragged in by your in-laws who “wanted to do something outdoors,” this event has enough variety to keep everyone mildly happy and distracted until bedtime.
