Okinawa Gathering Party (Too Majun Moorana) 2025 Is Happening on June 22 in Urasoe

  • Events

If you’ve been craving taiko drums, Okinawan soul, and food on a stick — mark your calendar for Sunday, June 22. Because Urasoe is about to turn into a full-blown Eisa dance party. And yes, it ends with fireworks 🎆

🗓 When and Where?

Date: Sunday, June 22, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Urasoe Culture Park (浦添カルチャーパーク)
Admission: Free (our favorite price)

Rain won’t stop the fun — unless it’s a typhoon. Then yeah, they’ll probably cancel.

🥁 What’s “Too Majun Moorana”?

It’s Okinawan for “Let’s all come together” — and that’s exactly what’s happening. Eisa teams from across the island are rolling up to Urasoe to show off their moves, their drums, and their ability to spin those hand towels like no one’s business

There’ll also be cheer dance, live music, and the kind of energy that makes your feet start dancing even if you swore you’d just come for the food trucks 🍢

🍽 What Else Is Happening?

You can eat your way through the festival with all the food trucks and vendor booths set up across the park. Whether you’re into fried everything or just need something cold to survive the June heat, there’s something waiting for your stomach

Families with kids — you’re good. There’s a wide-open space to let the little ones run around (and hopefully tire themselves out by sunset). Plus rest areas for grown-ups who peaked at lunchtime

🎇 Finale? You Bet.

Around 8:50 PM, the night ends with fireworks lighting up the sky. It’s the kind of ending that makes you go “ahhh” even if you’ve seen fireworks a hundred times before
