Okinawa’s summer just keeps getting better, and SUNSET ON THE BEACH 2025 is bringing the vibes back to Chatan Sunset Beach on Saturday, July 19. You get sunsets, you get music, you get food, and just when you think it can’t get any better—boom, fireworks. 🌅🎶🍕
This is the second round of the 2025 series, and if you missed the first one, don’t worry—this is your shot at redemption. The lineup has all the island flair you’d expect: DJs spinning tunes, food trucks slinging pizza and tacos, and hula dancers doing their thing while the sky turns fifty shades of orange.
🎤 Performance Schedule
🕞 3:30 PM – Chatan K-pop Dance School (Time to channel your inner K-idol)
🕓 4:15 PM – SANLELE LULLABY (Yes, it’s ukulele with extra island vibes)
🕔 5:00 PM – Halau Hula O Pua‘ena Naha (Hula dancers start warming up the sand)
🕠 5:45 PM – HALAU HULA O PUA‘ENA (More hula, because one set isn’t enough)
🕡 6:30 PM – Ka Lehua Hula Studio (Closing out the dance vibes with a lei flourish)
🍴 What to Expect
It’s not just music—pop-up shops will be out in full force, and the food trucks are bringing the good stuff. Grab a crepe or taco in one hand, a cold drink in the other, and sprawl out on the beach while DJs set the mood.
🎆 Fireworks Finale
As the sun goes down and you’ve polished off your last bite, the night ends with fireworks lighting up the Chatan sky. It’s Okinawa magic at its finest. Bring your friends, your in-laws, or just yourself and enjoy a mini vacation without leaving town.
