What to Expect 🌷
Imagine walking through a lush greenhouse where about 30 different tulip varieties are in full bloom — a total of around 70,000 stunning tulips! Because Okinawa’s subtropical climate isn’t ideal for large outdoor tulip fields, the flowers are grown with a special cold treatment, creating a beautiful indoor floral display you won’t usually expect here.
The wide range of colors — reds, pinks, whites, yellows — and shapes — from classic petals to fringed and lily-style blooms — gives the space a lively, almost storybook feel. It’s like getting a sneak peek of spring well before the rest of Japan.
